As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you’ll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices. We have an extraordinary opportunity for Foundry Interface Engineers. In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of process technology problem solving with a focus on interface with silicon vendors and foundries. This is a hands-on, dynamic role requiring travel to suppliers and foundries worldwide.
Must have:
- Manage technical process interface with silicon vendors.
- Work closely with suppliers on silicon process issues.
- Coordinate process transfers with IDMs and external foundry.
- Participate in technology development and device engineering.
- Drive investigation of root cause for process/yield issues.
- Manage and mitigate technology risks.
- Engage parties in decision making and drive closure.
- Build essential internal and external relationships.
- Interpersonal skills to engage at all levels of supply chain.
