Purpose of the Role Within dentsu Global Functions Procurement, our focus is to deliver value for money through commercially sound agreements and to enable business improvements and efficiencies through supplier sourcing and relationship management. Step into an exciting opportunity where you'll play a key role in uncovering cost-saving and value-adding initiatives, while streamlining processes across a range of Indirect Procurement categories. As part of a fast-paced and growing team, you’ll collaborate across global, regional, and brand levels, building strong relationships with a diverse network of internal stakeholders and external partners. You'll also apply leading sourcing methodologies and stakeholder management practices to drive measurable savings and service enhancements that align with our ambitious OneDentsu goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Category Managers in managing spend over an array of categories, including Professional Services, Software, HR, Finance and Marketing & Communications (opportunity to assume Category Lead for one or more of these categories as part of the role). 

  • Implementing different types of contracts, including MSAs, Order Forms and Statements of Work, and negotiating both commercial and legal positions within these.

  • Running RFX and competitive sourcing exercises (with and without e-sourcing tools).

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to provide strategic insights into spend and deliver value-add Procurement solutions.

  • Supporting the business with contract and performance management and implementing supplier relationship management (SRM) techniques to deliver against targeted SLAs and other business objectives.

  • Building relationships with key suppliers to yield productivity, drive innovation, promote collaboration and achieve sustainable value.

  • Compiling in-depth, accurate and insightful reporting to present to senior stakeholders and executive management, capturing performance against KPIs, and illustrating current picture vs end-goal for key categories.

  • Working alongside the Sustainable Procurement manager to develop initiatives, engage with suppliers on sustainability issues, and drive dentsu’s award-winning sustainability agenda.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Prior exposure to negotiating commercial and legal terms with relevant oversight from SMEs.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end sourcing process and typical in-house compliance procedures relating to Security Assurance, Data Privacy, Sustainability and Vendor Risk.

  • Experience in supporting management of Indirect Procurement categories.

  • Keen commercial awareness and analytical ability, using analytics tools in P2P systems or Tableau/PowerBI.

  • Capacity to multi-task and prioritise to meet targets.

  • Autonomous self-starter and proactive in identifying opportunities and driving improvements.
