We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

What you need to know about the role

PayPal seeks an exceptional product leader for our Authentication Methods team. We are creating a world where ‘payments’ and ‘identity’ are synonymous with PayPal. The Identity Platform is a suite of web services, used by internal and external developers to authenticate customers to enable payments anytime, anywhere and anyway. The Identity Platform processes billions of requests each month and enables PayPal and its partners to rapidly innovate on new payment scenarios and enable new experiences. Therefore, the evolution of the Identity Platform is integral to PayPal’s long-term strategy. 

Meet the team

The Identity team develops and adapts technologies like passkeys, biometrics, behavioral authentication, etc. to create secure and simple login experiences across a myriad of surfaces. This team ensures that our users have secure but easy access to their PayPal accounts and transactions regardless of the type of device, connectivity, geographic location or any other factor.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$118700 to $246290
