Job Description

PayPal is seeking a Sr. Product Manager 2 - Technical to define and execute a strategic roadmap leveraging AI, data, and API-driven solutions for merchant lifecycle management and partner integration. This role involves overseeing end-to-end product development, tracking performance, gathering feedback, and optimizing features to drive merchant and partner growth. The manager will identify market opportunities, collaborate with engineering, and prioritize initiatives to ensure product excellence and long-term success in a competitive market.
Must Have:

  • Update stakeholders and leadership on product milestones, project timelines, and key achievements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in AI and platform technologies.
  • Work with engineering teams to balance technical feasibility with product requirements.
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Master’s degree plus two years of experience or Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Experience in leading project management for AI-driven and API-based solutions, with a focus on scalable platform development and partner ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI technologies.
  • Experience with Data analytics.
  • Experience with API architecture.
  • Experience translating complex challenges into actionable, customer-centric product solutions.

Track and analyze product performance data to identify trends, measure success, and continuously optimize features for enhanced merchant engagement and business growth. Gather feedback, translate insights into actionable product features, and refine the product vision. Conduct product reviews, tests, and optimizations to maintain product excellence and address any emerging challenges. Identify market opportunities and customer needs to create product innovations that drive growth and stay ahead of industry trends. Update stakeholders and leadership on product milestones, project timelines, and key achievements to ensure transparency and alignment across teams. Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in AI and platform technologies, fostering a culture of innovation that positions the product for long-term success in a competitive market. Work with engineering teams to balance technical feasibility with product requirements, ensuring optimal solutions. Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and alignment with overall company objectives. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer and Information Technology, or a closely related Management field such as Business Analytics plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Technology, or a closely related Management field such as Business Analytics plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Salary: $181,293.00-270,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
