Must have:
  • Execute implementation of new part numbers and engineering changes
  • Coordinate assembly and supplier validations
  • Lead cost-saving projects
  • Propose and implement new systems and products with high-frequency knowledge
  • Provide product launch documentation (F3X, Planview)
  • Communicate with applications engineering and design release engineers
  • Coordinate engineering change implementation with plant teams
  • Determine product validation requirements with customers
  • Generate validation plans and coordinate sample manufacturing
  • Follow up on validation plans and ensure client approval
  • Request and manage assembly and component drawings
  • Create and manage part numbers and BOMs in SAP and GSD
  • Create and manage VNA programs
  • Execute escalation process for safety/health/environmental risks
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Minimum 3 years in product engineering
  • Valid Passport/Visa
  • Knowledge of core tools, DFMEA, GT&D

YOUR ROLE

As a Product Engineer on our team: Executes the implementation of new part numbers and engineering changes required by customers, coordinates assembly and supplier validations, and leads cost-saving projects.

In your daily job you will:

  • Coordination of product activities under their responsibility
  • Coordinates and executes the implementation of new part numbers and/or engineering changes required by customers and in compliance with customer requirements and specifications.
  • Proposes and implements new systems and products, requiring technical knowledge of high-frequency products.
  • Provides documentation at different stages of product launch, both for F3X and Planview.
  • Communication with work teams
  • Maintains constant communication with applications engineering and design release engineers to clearly understand the product application and its requirements and to document them appropriately.
  • Maintains constant communication with plant teams to coordinate the implementation of engineering changes.
  • Development and monitoring of validation plans
  • Determines product validation requirements with the customer.
  • Generates validation plans and coordinates the manufacturing of validation samples.
  • Follows up on the validation plan with the laboratory until the results are obtained and the DVP&R and/or 8D are completed, as applicable.
  • Ensures the results are presented to the client for approval.
  • Preparation of drawings and bills of materials
  • Timely requests and manages assembly and component drawings.
  • Creates and manages part numbers and BOMs in the SAP and GSD systems.
  • Creates and manages VNA programs for implementation.
  • Executes escalation process
  • Has the authority to escalate with the leadership group and/or stop any situation, action, and/or condition that poses a safety or health risk or adverse impact on the environment.

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Bachelors degree terminated
  • English advanced
  • Job experience in product engineering (minimum 3 years)
  • Passport / visa (must)
  • Knowledge in core tools, DFMEA, GT&D
