Join the Cloud & Productivity Engineering organization as a Product Manager for the Cloud SRE team, supporting the enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zone platform. This role involves applying software engineering principles to IT operations to ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of the cloud platform. You will lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of platform capabilities, including DevOps tooling, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Platform Engineering, collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define secure, automated, and resilient platform services.
Must have:
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap for SRE platform capabilities, aligned with business and technical priorities.
  • Translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes such as reduced time-to-market, improved developer productivity, and enhanced system reliability.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, and security teams to gather requirements, prioritise features, and drive adoption.
  • Champion platform engineering principles such as golden paths, self-service infrastructure, and developer experience.
  • Define and track SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to improve platform reliability and performance.
  • Establish and monitor key product metrics such as platform adoption rates, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery (MTTR).
  • Drive clear documentation, demos, and training to support platform adoption and understanding.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or technical leadership roles within cloud infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services, enterprise landing zones, and Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
  • Experience working in Agile environments with a strong grasp of Agile ceremonies and product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Good to have:
  • Experience with observability platforms (e.g., Datadog) and defining platform-level metrics.
  • Exposure to programming/scripting languages such as Python, Go, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of platform-as-a-product mindset and internal developer platforms.
  • Familiarity with OKRs and product analytics tools to measure impact and inform decisions.
  • Background in financial services or regulated industries is a plus.

Product Manager - Cloud SRE

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Cloud SRE team here at LSEG, supporting our enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zone platform.

Our Cloud SRE team applies software engineering principles to IT operations to ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of our cloud platform. As Product Manager, you will lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of platform capabilities that empower engineering teams across the organisation, including DevOps tooling, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Platform Engineering.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define and evolve platform services that are secure, automated, and resilient — enabling teams to build and operate cloud-native applications at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the product roadmap for SRE platform capabilities, aligned with business and technical priorities.
  • Outcome-Driven Planning: Translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes such as reduced time-to-market, improved developer productivity, and enhanced system reliability.

Tech Profile / Essential Skills
