  • Manage product lifecycle, refreshing existing products with updated assets.
  • Track and optimize adoption rates and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and brand teams.
  • Translate customer insights into actionable improvements.
  • Present strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • 5+ years experience in product, go-to-market, or partner marketing.
  • Proven success in launching and marketing technology products or games.
  • Ability to translate technical details into customer-centric messaging.
  • Experience creating toolkits, playbooks, or enablement resources.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms like HubSpot and Google Workspace.

Activate is a tech company known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are experiencing significant expansion and are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Product Marketing Leader. Reporting to the Vice President, Insights and Customer Loyalty, the Product Marketing Leader will be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy, toolkit development, and lifecycle management of Activate’s games and technology. This role ensures that new releases — and ongoing updates — are successfully marketed to partner locations, resulting in strong adoption, consistent execution, and a customer experience that reflects the Activate brand worldwide.

The Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Marketing

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for new game and technology launches, as well as ongoing product updates.
  • Collaborate with software and engineering teams to understand features, benefits, and differentiators.
  • Create compelling messaging and positioning tailored to both partner and customer audiences.
  • Leverage customer insights, segmentation, and partner feedback (in collaboration with Analytics) to refine positioning and inform innovation.
  • Ensure all product rollouts are designed for global consistency with flexibility for local adaptation across multiple countries.

Partner Enablement & Communications

  • Design and deliver marketing toolkits (e.g. launch guides, product briefs, promotional assets) ensuring clarity, usability, and scalability for partner execution.
  • Manage the distribution of toolkits and ensure timely delivery of rollouts
  • Coordinate webinars, demos, and training sessions to educate partners on new offerings.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with partners to ensure awareness, confidence, and excitement around upcoming releases.

Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive adoption and usage of new games, features, and technologies.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, ensuring existing products are refreshed with updated toolkits, positioning, and assets.
  • Track and optimize adoption rates and campaign performance, adjusting based on partner and customer engagement metrics.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with product, sales, and brand teams to align on launch goals and execution.
  • Partner with the Analytics Lead to field surveys, collect feedback, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to leadership to improve future launches.

The Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market, or partner marketing, preferably in B2B or partner-driven environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other relevant field preferred
  • Proven success in launching and marketing technology products, games, or experiential offerings.
  • Strong ability to translate technical details into customer-centric messaging and partner-ready assets.
  • Experience creating toolkits, playbooks, or enablement resources for distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple product launches and updates simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Google Workspace; familiarity with DAM or BI tools a plus).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, global environment.
