As a consultant within the vertical team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value.
Job Description:
- We are looking for a highly skilled Product Consultant with deep expertise in Product Data Management (PDM) systems to support digital transformation initiatives and product lifecycle optimization. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME), bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the effective implementation and utilization of PDM tools across the organization.
- Key Responsibilities:
- PDM Strategy & Implementation:
- Lead the assessment, selection, and implementation of PDM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP PDM).
- Define and document PDM processes, data models, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with PLM, ERP, and CAD systems.
- Drive standardization and automation of product data workflows.
- Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and clients on PDM best practices.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and align on solutions.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and system configurations.
- Data Governance & Quality:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies for product information.
- Monitor data quality, consistency, and compliance across systems.
- Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Technical & Functional Expertise:
- Provide hands-on support for PDM system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with software vendors and system integrators to ensure successful deployments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PDM consulting, implementation, or administration.
- In-depth knowledge of leading PDM platforms (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP PDM).
- Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and CAD systems integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or high-tech industries.
- Certifications in relevant PDM/PLM platforms.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and digital product development.
- Exposure to cloud-based PDM/PLM solutions.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative mindset.
