The Product Owner bridges business stakeholders and development teams, defining product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring high-value solution delivery. This role demands strategic thinking, customer empathy, and technical understanding to align the product roadmap with business goals. Responsibilities include managing the product backlog, collaborating with teams, acting as the customer's voice, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and tracking key metrics for product success.
Must have:
  • Define, maintain, and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

  • Create, manage, and refine product backlog.
  • Work closely with development teams for product delivery.
  • Act as the voice of the customer.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
  • Define and track key product metrics.
  • Make informed trade-off decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Good to have:
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Experience working in the digital transformation or technology consulting space
  • Exposure to data-driven products, AI/ML initiatives, or advanced analytics solutions

Job requirements

The Product Owner will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, defining product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring successful delivery of high-value solutions. Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business and technical requirements.
  • Create, manage, and refine the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business priorities.
  • Work closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring end-user needs are incorporated into design and development.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Define and track key product metrics to measure success and guide future enhancements.
  • Make informed trade-off decisions between scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.

Skills & Qualifications

##### Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

##### Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise-grade digital products from conception to delivery.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

##### Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar project management platforms.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern technology stacks.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive insights for decision-making.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
