The Esports team plays a pivotal role in designing and bringing to life the most amazing esports products for the community. They contribute to creating exceptional experiences that resonate with users and elevate the world of esports.

As the Production Manager in Esports, you will play a central role in ensuring smooth and successful production of our Live-production and broadcasts. You will be responsible for all organizational aspects of production, including scheduling, budgeting, and negotiating with and booking external service providers and freelancers.

The ideal candidate in this role will be based in Stockholm, Sweden. This position reports directly to our Head of Production Management, Sweden.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role both independently and collaboratively, focusing on the following essential duties:

  • Coordination / Planning:
    • Oversee all aspects of live-production events, ensuring they run smoothly from planning to execution.
    • Coordinate with various teams, including technical team, producers and project. 
    • Identify ways to upgrade/ improve production operations and suggest steps to implement improvements, while maintaining current operations timelines
  • Scheduling:
    • Develop detailed production schedules, including timelines for rehearsals, broadcasts, and post-event debriefs.
    • Ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and timelines.
  • Budget Management:
    • Create and manage production budgets to ensure we meet financial targets.
    • Support the team with suggestions for the execution of productions, on the levels of both cost efficiency as well as feasibility
  • Vendor Management:
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing with external service providers, ensuring quality service at competitive rates.
    • Maintain relationships with freelancers and vendors, ensuring their understanding of event requirements and standards.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure every element of the production meets high standards, from technical setups to talent coordination.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly address any issues that arise during the production process, adapting plans as necessary.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure all deadlines are met and the event proceeds as planned.


What You Need:

  • In-depth experience working in a broadcast production area (3 years)
  • A strong knowledge of technical issues related to TV production
  • Passion and understanding of esports broadcast production (nice to have)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in English language, both spoken and written
  • Strong negotiating and analytical skills
  • Ability to work within an environment of frequently changing priorities (does not get flustered by changes and last-minute issues)
  • Ability to be proactive and problem-solving, and able to delegate and oversee teams working independently
  • Strong ability to supervise experienced vendors
  • High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and integrity
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed
  • Ability to travel and be abroad
  • Ability to work under time pressure and remain calm in challenging situations
