The Valeo Site based in Amiens (80) is a Research & Development center and a production site. It brings together nearly 800 employees around the design and manufacture of electric transmission systems (clutch, reducer, etc.).
We are recruiting a Production Supervisor (M/F)
Your missions:
You will supervise a production scope composed of approximately 30 to 50 people (operators, temporary workers), you will drive production performance in compliance with the objectives set by the Production Unit Manager. You will lead teams around Valeo's pillars (employee involvement, technical excellence, continuous improvement), ensure compliance with work standards and lead progress actions. Your daily presence on the field allows you to guarantee the efficiency and rigor of operations.
Team Management:
- Integrate and train new arrivals, manage certifications and skill developments.
- Foster team flexibility and autonomy.
- Manage daily HR topics: absences, social climate, interviews, planning...
- Ensure compliance with time standards, and the application of safety/environment rules.
- Maintain a positive and constructive social climate.
Mastery of Standards:
- Guarantee the application of work standards on all workstations.
- Follow quality, safety, environment instructions, rework, restart procedures.
- Lead 1st level maintenance routines (TPM) and anomaly reporting.
- Measure and improve cycle times, observe performance losses.
- Keep performance dashboards and visual management tools up to date.
Production Monitoring:
- Propose team organization according to the needs of the production plan (MPS).
- Monitor SQCDM indicators (safety, quality, costs, deadlines, motivation).
- Escalate complex problems to the appropriate level (support functions or management).
- Guarantee compliance with daily and weekly production objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive SQCDM improvement action plans (including P-30 productivity).
- Participate in budget preparation (staffing, investments, costs).
- Lead continuous improvement workshops (5S, Kaizen, problem-solving...).
- Contribute to the start-up of new equipment or processes.
- Actively participate in internal and client audits, as well as V5000 routines.
- Promote Valeo tools (5 axes) and deploy methodological best practices.
About you:
- Master's degree (engineer or equivalent), with a minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial production.
- Mastery of continuous improvement tools, production standards, and team management.
- Experience in supervising significant size teams including temporary workers.
- Comfortable with operational English for client exchanges and audits.
- Field leadership, rigor, and analytical skills are key.
