The Talent team is scaling rapidly, and we are seeking a Program Manager, Talent Strategy & Operations to design and operationalize recruiting infrastructure, making the team more efficient, data-driven, and impactful. This role involves owning strategy and execution for key recruiting programs, including systems, automation, candidate experience, and talent brand.
Must have:
  • Own and evolve our recruiting technology stack, evaluating and implementing emerging AI and automation tools
  • Enable data-driven recruiting by designing reporting, dashboards, and analytics that inform decisions
  • Champion documentation and operational rigor to ensure consistency, clarity, and scalability
  • Drive talent branding efforts, helping shape how Decagon shows up in the market for candidates
  • Lead strategic projects that improve recruiting efficiency, candidate experience, and overall team effectiveness
Good to have:
  • Experience leading recruiting initiatives that leverage AI or advanced automation
  • Deep expertise with Ashby or similar recruiting platforms
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup or tech company

About the Role

Decagon is scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for a Program Manager, Talent Strategy & Operations to design and operationalize the recruiting infrastructure that powers our growth. Your mission: make our Talent team more efficient, data-driven, and impactful.

You’ll own the strategy and execution for key recruiting programs, spanning systems and automation, operational frameworks, candidate experience, and talent brand. This is a role for someone who thrives on building from the ground up and wants to create outsized impact in a high-growth environment.

In this role, you will

  • Own and evolve our recruiting technology stack, evaluating and implementing emerging AI and automation tools
  • Enable data-driven recruiting by designing reporting, dashboards, and analytics that inform decisions
  • Champion documentation and operational rigor to ensure consistency, clarity, and scalability
  • Drive talent branding efforts, helping shape how Decagon shows up in the market for candidates
  • Lead strategic projects that improve recruiting efficiency, candidate experience, and overall team effectiveness

Your background looks something like this

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, talent operations, or strategy & operations roles
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-impact programs
  • A systems thinker who knows how to design processes and frameworks for high-performing teams
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Even better

  • Experience leading recruiting initiatives that leverage AI or advanced automation
  • Deep expertise with Ashby or similar recruiting platforms
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup or tech company

Compensation

$160k - $220k + equity

Compensation Range: $160K - $220K
