Job Description

As a Project Manager within our Defence & Security team, you will apply your experience and skills to plan, execute and deliver diverse and innovative projects supporting Australian customers. You will have the chance to lead collaboration activities with multiple stakeholders to facilitate and deliver outcomes across various projects.
Must have:
  • Planning, executing and finalising projects for delivery to our customers
  • Overseeing the quality control throughout the project life cycle
  • Ensuring compliance, governance and oversight of project controls in regards to Financial, Schedule/Planning, Risk Management, etc, are in place for projects being managed
  • Leading continuous improvement and lessons learned processes
  • Strong experience in Project Management
  • Proven experience handling risk management responsibilities
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance
Good to have:
  • Defence industry experience
  • Already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance

About This Role

The role we are offering you

  • Planning, executing and finalising projects for delivery to our customers
  • Overseeing the quality control throughout the project life cycle
  • Ensuring compliance, governance and oversight of project controls in regards to Financial, Schedule/Planning, Risk Management, etc, are I in place for projects being managed
  • Leading continuous improvement and lessons learned processes

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Strong experience in Project Management
  • Defence industry experience will be looked upon favourably
  • Proven experience handling risk management responsibilities
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally

Location:

  • This role will be ideally located in Homebush, NSW
  • We operate a hybrid working approach.

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
