Job Description

Plans, organizes and implements the complete quality system for the given project, ensuring it aligns with customer requirements. This role involves monitoring purchased goods, manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes to detect non-conformities, proposing corrective and preventive measures. The engineer will also participate in quality analyses and reports, manage customer complaints, and communicate directly with clients and sister companies on quality matters. They will use methodologies like QRQC and PDCA-FTA to analyze and resolve problems, ensuring solutions meet quality standards.
Must have:
  • Ensure product deliveries comply with specifications and approved deviations.
  • Monitor goods receipt, manufacturing, assembly, and testing for non-conformities.
  • Propose corrective and preventive measures to eliminate non-conformities.
  • Participate in quality analyses and reports, including corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintain records of complaints and communicate with buyers.
  • Produce and distribute quality documents (procedures, work instructions, forms).
  • Communicate directly with clients and sister companies on quality issues (e.g., 8D reports).
  • Participate in regular QRQC meetings and provide up-to-date quality information.
  • Utilize QRQC, PDCA-FTA methodologies for problem-solving, adhering to quality standards.
  • Cooperate with other departments for quality coordination and professional assistance.
  • Participate in activities and projects related to quality issues.
  • Ensure design standards are followed and critical features are applied.
  • Communicate critical feature requirements to suppliers through Supplier Quality Requirements.
  • Provide a link between product/process FMEAs and corresponding monitoring plans.
  • Verify that Lessons Learned are applied in product/process FMEA.
  • Create, communicate, and verify implementation of Lessons Learned Cards (LLC).
  • Define, implement, maintain, and update Quality Control Plans.
  • Mechanical engineer or related engineering degree.
  • Proficiency in Macedonian language.
  • High proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience.
  • ISO internal auditor.

Job Details

Position Summary:

Plans, organizes and implements the complete quality system for the given project, it should be in accordance with the customer's requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

  • It ensures that every delivery of products to Buyers is in accordance with the specification for those same products, and if there are deviations, they are approved by the appropriate relevant party.
  • Monitors the receipt of purchased goods, the process of manufacturing-assembly-testing of the parts, and detects non-conformities. Proposes corrective and preventive measures to prevent and eliminate emerging non-conformities.
  • Participates in the preparation of analyses and reports on the quality of the products as well as the performance of the processes it performs; in connection with these analyses, it prepares reports on corrective and preventive measures and on the effects of their implementation.
  • Keeps records of complaints and communicates with Buyers regarding them.
  • Produces and distributes quality documents, which are within the Department's scope of work: procedures, work instructions, forms.
  • The newly formed quality documents are technically shaped in electronic form.
  • Directly communicates with Clients and involved sister companies from Wabtec Corporation for any matters in the field of quality (registration of complaints, quick response for customer assurance, analysis and preparation of 8D report, cascading of complaints to suppliers via WIM-S, etc.) .
  • Participates in regular QRQC meetings in accordance with the defined rules for the same (San Gen Shugi approach, etc.).
  • Provides and communicates up-to-date quality information for each QRQC meeting as well as in the WIM system.
  • Uses adopted methodologies and tools (QRQC, PDCA-FTA) to analyse the cause of non-conformities and solve problems, taking care that the proposed solutions are in accordance with the quality standards of the Clients or Wabtec Corporation.
  • Co-operates with other departments and sectors in the company for the purpose of coordinating and providing professional assistance for the performance of activities related to quality.
  • Participates in activities and projects with quality issues.
  • Ensures that design standards are followed and that critical features are applied and adhered to.
  • Ensures critical feature requirements are communicated to Suppliers through Supplier Quality Requirements.
  • Provides a link between product/process FMEAs and corresponding monitoring plans.
  • Verifies that Lessons Learned are applied in product/process FMEA.
  • Creates, communicates Lessons Learned Cards (LLC), and verifies that they are implemented and adhered to.
  • Defines, implements, maintains and updates Quality Control Plans according to adopted changes and modifications of processes or products.
  • Performs other tasks that will be delegated to him by his direct supervisor

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: Mechanical engineer or other related engineering degree; Macedonian language is a must. High proficiency in written and verbal English.

Min. 3 years work experience, ISO internal auditor.
