QA Engineer

Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys have spent over a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile gaming. We have developed multiple award-winning titles, including: Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade and Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War. We’re now excited to be exclusively working on a new game, unlike ANYTHING we’ve done previously!

The Role:

We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Development QA team to test our upcoming title.

In this position, you will play a key part in maintaining and upholding the quality of the game, ensuring that any bugs or design improvements are identified and resolved ahead of the game reaching the market. As well as generating bug reports, you will analyse test results and recommend areas where things can be improved.

About you:

With a keen eye for detail, you will be able to pick up on patterns while ensuring accuracy in your communications and escalations; allowing you to effectively capture and document issues so that they can be resolved in an efficient manner.

Coming from the gaming industry you will be experienced with the games development lifecycle and be well versed in the industry’s terminology and iterative design. You will join us with previous experience testing on a variety of platforms, ideally having worked with Android and/or iOS devices.

It would also be beneficial if you have joined us with experience using JIRA, have knowledge of embedded testing in a development environment.
