Job Description

Axi is seeking a hands-on QA Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of their web applications. The role involves leading manual and automated testing of web applications using tools like Selenium or Playwright, developing and maintaining test plans and cases, and building automated test scripts. The QA Specialist will collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to embed QA practices and drive quality assurance best practices, including regression suites and CI integration. They will also be responsible for identifying, logging, and tracking defects through remediation and release. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in web application QA, a solid understanding of QA processes, and proven ability to build or improve QA processes in fast-paced environments.

Good To Have:

Experience with JavaScript test automation frameworks

Exposure to cloud-based QA environments

What You’ll Do

Lead manual and automated testing of web applications using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing processes.
Build and optimize automated test scripts and routines.
Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to embed QA practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Drive quality assurance best practices, including regression suites and CI integration.
Identify, log, and track defects through remediation and release.

About You

2-3 years of experience in web application QA, including scripting automation.
Solid understanding of QA processes: test planning, QA metrics, CI/CD pipelines.
Proven ability to build or improve QA processes in dynamic environments.
Experience working in product-based or fast-paced startup settings.
Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and attention to detail.
Proactive self-starter with ability to manage tight deadlines.
Fluent in English with good communication skills.
Bachelor’s or diploma in Science/Technology—good academic standing required.
