Job Description
The Valeo site in Mondeville, an R&D and production center for sensors, is seeking a Quality Leader for its Production Unit (UAP). Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, you will lead the production quality team and define the UAP's quality improvement plan to ensure customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include coordinating team activities, participating in QRQC, monitoring quality indicators, conducting audits, analyzing problems, ensuring compliance with Valeo and client standards, and having the authority to halt production for safety or quality risks. The role requires a quality background, strong teamwork, field presence, and communication skills.

Must Have:

- Monitor and update quality indicators.
- Conduct field audits and identify corrective actions.
- Participate in problem analysis and assign tasks.
- Ensure compliance with "Stop at 1st defect" / "Stop at 1st non-compliance".
- Ensure adherence to Valeo and Customer standards (4M, control plan, QRAP).
- Participate in eradicating customer problems and quality incidents.
- Review control plans and update quality documents after process changes.
- Authority to stop production for safety or quality risks.

The Valeo site in Mondeville is an R&D and production center specializing in the design and manufacture of sensors (oil level sensors, Temperature / Pressure / Air intake / Position sensors, etc.).
Under the responsibility of the Site Quality Manager, you will supervise the production quality team. You will define the UAP quality improvement plan to achieve customer satisfaction.
Your challenges?
- Coordinate the activities of the production quality team
- Participate in UAP and Site QRQC and support managers in analyzing problems assigned in QRQC activities
- Monitor and update quality indicators
- Conduct field audits and identify associated actions in case of deviation
- Participate in problem analysis and assign activities
- Ensure compliance with "Stop at 1st defect" / "Stop at 1st non-compliance"
- Ensure compliance with Valeo standards (4M, control plan, QRAP, etc.) and Customer standards
- Participate in the eradication of customer problems and quality incidents
- Review control plans and update quality documents following a process-related change
- Have the authority to stop production in case of deviation from safety or quality standards posing a risk to operators or the customer
