We are currently looking for a Regional Distribution Analyst 1 to join our team in Irvine, CA. Under direct supervision, this role supports the analysis and determination of vehicle distribution to execute the business plan for profitability, market share, and volume. The goal is to ensure the right vehicle is in the right place at the right time for an assigned region. This involves assisting in data gathering, analysis, and reporting to determine the optimal mix of models and options, balancing dealer inventories, and communicating updates to regional and senior management.
Must have:
  • Supports the analysis and determination of vehicle distribution.
  • Execution of the business plan of profitability, market share and volume.
  • Ensure the right vehicle is in the right place at the right time.
  • Assists in data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Help determine the mix of models and options to meet customer demand.
  • Balance dealer inventories within the region.
  • Communicates updates and tracking with regional and senior management.
  • Assists in tracking of regional Hoshin Kanri objectives.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
  • 1-3 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience at the specialist level in Consumer Affairs, Sales Operations, Distribution, Market Representation or Marketing is preferred.
  • Previous sales or dealership contact experience is a plus.

We are currently looking for a Regional Distribution Analyst 1 join our team in Irvine, CA.

Under direct supervision, supports the analysis and determination of vehicle distribution in the execution of the business plan of profitability, market share and volume to ensure the right vehicle is in the right place at the right time for an assigned region.

Job Functions

Assists in data gathering, analysis, and reporting to help determine the mix of models and options to meet customer demand, market share, reduced inventory and sales model unit objectives. Provides support in the determination of monthly wholesale objectives for DOMs/AGMs to balance dealer inventories within the region. Communicates updates and tracking with regional personnel, dealership personnel and senior management. Assists in tracking of regional Hoshin Kanri objectives in support of the FY Business Plan. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.

Experience: 1-3 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience.

Previous experience at the specialist level in Consumer Affairs, Sales Operations, Distribution, Market Representation or Marketing is preferred. Previous sales or dealership contact experience is a plus.

Job Abilities & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products. Additional knowledge of sales related systems.
  • Ability to function effectively and remain productive in an office environment.
  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Result driven even in the face of resistance or setbacks.
  • Ability to present ideas and analysis in an effective manner.
  • Ability to understand the complexities of situations and solicit assistance from others as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail and analytical mindset. Adaptable and results focused with the ability to work in fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
  • Passion for the automotive industry with a desire to pursue a Field Sales (DOM/FOM) career path at Nissan. Must be open to future relocation.
