As an RF Analog Layout Design Engineer, you will join a dynamic RF Development team for RF Transceivers, working on challenging topics in a leading-edge technical environment. This role offers broad insight into advanced communications products, focusing on the physical implementation of RF and Analog designs. Responsibilities include top-level Chip and block-level floor planning, analyzing options based on design constraints and area budgets, and ensuring execution meets stringent schedule and die size requirements.

  • Perform top-level Chip and block-level floor planning, analyzing options considering design constraints and area budgets.
  • Ability to execute to a stringent schedule and die size requirements.
Good to have:
  • Full and deep knowledge in the Cadence Virtuoso IC6 (Open Access environment).
  • Full and deep knowledge in Mentor Calibre verification tools.
  • Expert in debugging verification problems such as DRC, LVS, DFM.
  • Deep understanding of layout theory, transistor work flow, silicon cross section knowledge, and fabrication process.
  • Experience in Analog layout designs such as DAC, ADC, differential OP amps, and Base band filters circuits.
  • Experience in RF layout designs such as RX, TX, and VCO circuits.

  • In this position, you will be part of a highly-dynamic RF Development team for RF Transceivers. You will work on challenging topics as a member of a cross-functional team of experts in a leading-edge technical environment.
  • The position opens up the opportunity to gain a broad insight into leading-edge communications products and is ideally suited for applicants with a focus on a technical career.
  • In this role, you will be directly responsible for the physical implementation of RF and Analog design for our innovative communications platform products.
  • Top-level Chip and block-level floor planning, analysis of floor plan options taking into account design constraints and area budgets.
  • Ability to execute to a stringent schedule and die size requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Practical electronic engineer
  • We expect a highly-motivated technical expert with good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interests in problem solving and an attitude to convince people of own ideas as well as openness towards novel technical directions are mandatory.
  • The candidate should be capable of working in multi-disciplinary / site / cultural teams.
  • Excellent English communications: read, write and verbal
  • Flexibility on site work between Haifa and Petah-Tikva
