Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Risk & Compliance Advisor to support both risk and compliance functions. This role will be instrumental in analysing data, preparing reports, and supporting governance activities that underpin our enterprise risk management and compliance programmes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and contributing to strategic decision-making. Internal company knowledge and experience will be considered strongly in lieu of formal risk or compliance experience, particularly for candidates who have worked across teams and shown an aptitude for analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the enterprise risk register, including tracking mitigation actions, interdependencies, and ownership.
- Support the Head of Risk & Compliance in preparing materials for ELT and Audit & Risk Committee meetings.
- Analyse incident trends and support the refresh of the Incident Response Plan, including escalation protocols.
- Assist in the development of dashboards and metrics for risk and compliance performance.
- Conduct research on emerging risks (e.g., AI, cyber resilience, regulatory developments).
- Support internal workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Help coordinate compliance reviews and data collection for audits.
- Contribute to the development of risk and compliance training materials and onboarding resources.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and compliance principles is helpful but not required.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Interest in emerging technologies and regulatory trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Internal candidates with strong business knowledge and a desire to grow into a governance role are highly encouraged to apply.
