  • Effectively handle objections and guide client decisions.
  • Negotiate project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to the development team.
  • Collaborate with developers for scope and timeline estimation.
  • Translate client needs into actionable briefs for development.
  • Communicate technical game development aspects to non-technical clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
  • Track bids, responses, and conversion metrics.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in Upwork bidding or freelance platform sales.
  • Successful track record in closing deals.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

We are looking for a Sales Closer – Game Development with a strong focus on sales closing. The role involves identifying opportunities on Upwork and other freelance platforms, drafting tailored proposals, managing the full sales cycle, negotiating terms, and closing deals to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and qualify game development opportunities on Upwork and other freelance platforms
  • Draft and submit persuasive, tailored proposals aligned with client requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from prospect engagement to negotiation and closure.
  • Consistently achieve monthly sales targets and maintain a strong pipeline for predictable revenue growth.
  • Regularly review performance with leadership and refine strategies to maximize results.
  • Handle objections effectively and guide clients toward informed decisions.
  • Negotiate project scope, timelines, and budgets for win–win outcomes.
  • Provide smooth handover of closed deals to the development/production team.
  • Collaborate with developers to estimate scope, timelines, and ensure feasibility.
  • Translate client needs into clear, actionable briefs for the development team.
  • Communicate technical aspects of game development clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Track bids, responses, and conversion metrics to optimize win rate.
  • Explore and expand client acquisition channels beyond Upwork.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding or freelance platform sales, with a successful track record in closing deals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Prior exposure to gaming, software development, or digital services industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for persuasive proposals and client interaction.
  • Proven research, opportunity qualification, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with game development terms, processes, and workflows.
  • Experience on platforms such as Fiverr, Freelancer, Toptal, or LinkedIn outreach.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools for tracking opportunities, leads, and conversions.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

6 pm to 3 am
