This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer, Quality Engineering. The role involves providing quality control tests and analysis in the software development life cycle to ensure technology solutions meet business and customer needs. Key responsibilities include supporting quality control planning and execution, capturing testing requirements, developing automated and manual test cases, ensuring test traceability, identifying and resolving defects using black box and white box techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Must have:

  • Captures testing requirements and raises clarifications.
  • Plans, develops, and stabilizes automated and manual test cases.
  • Ensures test traceability and reports on testing progress.
  • Applies black box, white box testing techniques to identify and resolve defects.
  • Works with multi-functional teams on developing testing scope and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mentality.
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks (Java, Cypress, Selenium).
  • Experience in the software development life cycle and one programming language.
  • Strong experience in test case design.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process.
Good to have:
  • Experience with POSTMAN tool is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Financial Markets and FIX Protocols are an added advantage.
  • ISTQB Core Foundation Certified or equivalent is an added advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer, Quality Engineering. Provides quality control tests and analysis of outcomes in a software development life cycle to ensure technology solutions meet or exceed business and customer needs

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Supports a wide range of quality control planning and execution activities in alignment with the organization's standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs.
  • Captures testing requirements by evaluating the product requirement specifications (functional) and raise clarifications with product owners, business analysts. And supporting analysis. Assigns required tests to Associates.
  • Plan, develop and stabilize automated and manual test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Ensures test traceability and reporting on testing progress and activities.
  • Apply black box, white box testing techniques to identify and resolves defects.
  • Work with multi-functional teams and business functions on developing testing scope and best practices.
  • Builds trusting relationships with colleagues, collaborating closely with the team.
  • Open and clear communication between the team and direct impacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2+ year of experience in the field of Quality assurance.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mentality.
  • Exhibits good experience with automation tools and frameworks (Java,Cypress,Selenium).
  • Experience in the software development life cycle and one programming language, preferably in multi-tiered applications.
  • Experience with POSTMAN tool is preferred.
  • Strong experience in test case design.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with a focus on collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
