Senior Analyst - Strategic Finance

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Strategic Finance is a part of GoDaddy’s Finance Data, Analytics, and Technology team, and our overall mission is to optimize the power of data insights & automation solutions by enabling capabilities around technology, data, and people for improved efficiency & scalability. In Strategic Finance, we use business intelligence and financial models to derive data-driven insights that drive top-line, strategic growth. As part of this team, you will enable efficiency and velocity of insight discovery through data product development- velocity is key but be a good citizen! You will join forces with analytics and finance leaders to abstract complexity and enable data democratization. It’s key that you can translate financial analyst and business partner needs into data products that eliminate the distance between raw data and strategic action. We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to support and contribute to a seamless end-to-end (E2E) product lifecycle, enabling the go-to-market motion for the company. This role is a blend of finance, accounting (preferably ASC 606/revenue recognition), and analytical problem-solving, designed for someone who thrives in a cross-functional, high-impact environment.

What you'll get to do...

• Monitor and analyze the new product requests, migration efforts, or any change to existing products, identifying bottlenecks and providing data-driven suggestions for operational improvements
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Product, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting for new product launches, SKU creation and testing/validation, and revenue recognition requirements
• Execute analyses to support stakeholder alignment, helping teams understand upcoming revenue impacts
• Contribute to improvements in revenue forecasting methodologies through detailed analysis and implementation of process enhancements
• Identify and analyze gaps in the new product launch funnel, recommending solutions to accelerate launch timelines and reduce friction
• Take initiative in problem-solving—identifying issues and proposing solutions based on data analysis

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or a related field
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel; SQL or other data analysis tools a plus and using analytics to solve problems
• Self-starter mentality—proactively finding opportunities through analysis for improvement and creating actionable insights
• Experience with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred) and variance analysis preferred
• Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams

• Group 1: $73,500.00 – $110,500.00
• Group 2: $82,500.00 – $123,500.00
• Group 3: $87,600.00 – $131,400.00
• Group 4: $95,500.00 – $143,500.00
