Job Description
Virtuos (Sparx*) seeks a Senior Concept Artist to create 2D concept art for in-game characters and environments. Responsibilities include liaising with the development team, iterating on feedback from the Art Director, and developing concepts into finished artwork. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of game industry experience, shipped at least one AAA console title, and possesses strong drawing, color, and design skills. Proficiency in Photoshop, Painter, and 3D software is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for game development. The role involves close collaboration with the art team and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project's art direction and overall vision.

Responsibilities
Report to: Concept Art Team Leader/ Concept Art Director
- Creation of 2d concept art for in-game characters and/or environments
- Liaise with the game development team to understand project requirements
- Work closely with the Lead or Art Director to understand the project's Art Direction
- Quickly iterate from feedback from the Lead or Art Director
- Develop concepts to finished artwork
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience of games industry experience as a Concept Artist
- Shipped at least 1 AAA console title
- Solid drawing skills and good sense of color
- Superb Creativity and innovation in design
- Familiarity with both realistic and cartoon styles.
- Mastery of Photoshop, Painter and other related software.
- Proficiency in using graphics tablet for painting
- Good communication skills and interpretation abilities
- Good knowledge of 3D software such as Maya or Blender for game art production
- Good knowledge of 3D production process, game production experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Passionate about game development
