Job Description

Join a project developing an external API for a leading digital mental health product for UK and US markets. You will design and implement a scalable data platform using Azure, enhance LLM-related Python services, collaborate with DevOps, build Power BI dashboards, and ensure data quality and best practices. This role is crucial for shaping the data infrastructure and performance of the platform.

Must have:

Design and implement scalable data platform using Azure cloud services.
Enhance and support LLM-related Python services.
Collaborate with DevOps team on infrastructure tasks.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
Ensure data quality, observability, and best practices.
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory.
Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, or similar).
Understanding of Azure services, Kubernetes, and containerization.
Practical experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Knowledge of data quality and observability principles.
Strong ownership, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

Good to have:

Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

What You’ll Do:

Design and implement a scalable data platform capable of processing and analyzing large volumes of data using Azure cloud services.
Enhance and support LLM-related Python services.
Collaborate with the DevOps team and contribute to infrastructure tasks when required.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for both internal teams and external customers.
Ensure data quality, observability, and best practices are consistently applied.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory.
Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, or similar).
Solid understanding of Azure services, Kubernetes, and containerization.
