Job Description

As a Senior DataOps Engineer I at Aledade, you will be instrumental in securing enterprise, cloud-native environments, applications, and data. The role requires engineers who understand the importance of data and automation for the company's mission and can implement these at scale. Collaboration across various teams to drive impactful outcomes and enhance the digital landscape is key. Responsibilities include redesigning the Account hierarchy and updating the Salesforce data model for accurate reporting, evaluating and improving ETL processes, and leveraging data to enhance security posture. The role also involves crafting and refining Salesforce documentation.
Must have:
  • BS/BTech in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field
  • 4+ years of enterprise/cloud experience
  • 3+ years of operations/incident response experience
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience
  • 2+ years of coaching experience

Job Details

As a Senior DataOps Engineer I at Aledade, you will play a central role in helping secure our enterprise,
cloud native environments, applications and data. We’re looking for engineers that understand data and
automation are important ingredients to our mission and know how to actively employ these ingredients
at scale. Beyond the technical expertise, we value individuals who can partner cross-functionally across

Primary Duties

    • Working cross-functionally to re-design, re-build the Account hierarchy and update the Salesforce data model to ensure accurate and effective reporting.
    • Evaluate the current ETL processes, define the scope of improvements, and assess the feasibility and impact of proposed changes.
    • Leveraging data to understand trends, metrics, and opportunities to improve our security posture, researching options, and then making recommendations as options to secure those opportunities with stakeholders
    • Helping craft and refine documentation pertinent to Salesforce, such as policies, standards, baselines, and standard operating procedures

Minimum Qualifications

    • BS / BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, 6 years domain experience without degree
    • 4+ years combined experience in an enterprise environment (preferably cloud) in the relevant domain(s).
    • 3+ years of experience working in operations and/or supporting incident response
    • 2+ years of Salesforce experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, solving for short-term and long term business value
    • 2+ years of experience coaching other engineers

Preferred KSA’s

    • Experience with health-tech systems, like Electronic Health Records, Clinical data, etc.

    • Domain Specific Experience
      ● Data Security
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and SQL
    • Experience with Cloud Native Software Development environments and practices
    • Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data
    • Proficiency in working with large datasets
    • Experience working with data ingestion systems
    • Experience in architecting, designing, and developing large scale data solutions with integrated backup and recovery system
    • Experience influencing software engineers and business stakeholders to continuously improve the data security posture of their products and operations
    • Experience generating automated metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistency
    • Strong understanding of the Data Lifecycle and reference architectures
    • In-depth knowledge of databases and data storage technologies as well as replication, sharding and other techniques for scalability and high availability of databases
    • Solid understanding of data security principles, including encryption, access controls, obfuscation etc.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to articulate complex technical issues to a diverse audience

Physical Requirements

    • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
