Behaviour Interactive seeks a Senior Web Development Tester to join their Core Technologies team. This role involves creating test plans, performing thorough testing on frontend (HTML, CSS, TypeScript) and backend (APIs, databases) components of web applications and backend services supporting games like Dead by Daylight. Responsibilities include identifying bugs, documenting reproduction steps, reporting application status, contributing to QA best practices, and participating in team discussions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of QA experience focused on web applications, proficiency with JIRA, Postman, and Cypress, and strong problem-solving skills.

Behaviour is seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Development Tester to join the Core technologies team and help us elevate our quality initiative and ensure an exceptional user experience across all our projects.
Core Tech is a team responsible for developing a wide range of backend and frontend services that support and enhance Behaviour games. Our services are diverse, encompassing web and back-office frontend applications, backend services such as matchmaking, player progression, in-game purchases, friends' system, messaging, and much more. This team creates the underlying web services that live games like Dead by Daylight rely upon to develop their in-game features.
In this role you will :
- Create test plans from design documents;
- Perform thorough testing on features developed by the Core Tech team, adhering to established procedures;
- You will identify bugs, find clear reproduction steps, and enter the information in the bug database. Additionally, you will iterate with the team and validate the status of the bugs;
- Report on the status of the application to the team members;
- Contribute to the evolution and sharing of best practices in quality assurance;
- Participate in the dailies of the Core Tech team, as well as any discussions concerning quality.
What we're looking for :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing with a focus on web applications;
- Someone versatile who is proficient in testing both front-end (HTML, CSS, TypeScript) and back-end (APIs, databases) components;
- Highly proficient with JIRA;
- Familiar with web testing tools such as Postman and Cypress;
- Strong problem-solving skills, a keen analytical mind with attention to detail, and a solution-oriented, collaborative spirit.
