Job Description

As a Team Lead UI UX Designer at Behaviour Interactive, you will guide a growing multidisciplinary team, including UI/UX. You'll leverage your strong UI/UX expertise and leadership skills to shape user experience, conduct first-pass reviews, and ensure quality and consistency. This role involves defining best practices, aligning user experience with game designers' needs and the Creative Director's vision, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional departments to deliver unforgettable gaming experiences.
Must Have:
  • Set and share best practices for design, workflows, and tooling to optimize quality, performance, and asset pipelines
  • Define and propose the best user experience aligning with game designers’ needs and the Creative Director’s vision
  • Provide leadership and direction to the UI/UX team
  • Assign tasks and oversee progress within the UI/UX team
  • Establish and uphold high standards for UI/UX visuals and usability
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments
  • Strong foundation in art education with solid knowledge of artistic principles
  • Portfolio of previously released projects demonstrating quality and experience
  • In-depth understanding of 3D game content pipelines and production tools
  • 4 years or more of proven leadership and excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine UMG
  • Ability to assess and enhance user interface UI/UX experiences

As a Team Lead UI UX Designer, you'll be stepping into a dynamic environment where the team is actively growing into a multidisciplinary group, including UI/UX. We're looking for someone who not only brings strong UI/UX expertise but also has solid leadership skills to guide and support the team through this evolution. You’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience, conducting first-pass reviews of UI/UX work, and ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively with directors and cross-functional teams, translating design language and feedback into actionable insights.

In this role you will :

  • 4 years or more of proven leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine UMG.
  • Ability to assess and enhance user interface UI/UX experiences.
