This role is for a Senior Director, Mortgage Client Services at FICO, a global analytics software company. Must have:

  • Champion the adoption of FICO Score 10 T and other advanced scoring solutions.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and other critical stakeholders.
  • Partner with lenders to help them align their FICO solutions with securitization requirements.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to lending and underwriting leaders on credit risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with client investor and secondary marketing teams to enhance market liquidity.
  • Translate complex credit analytics and scoring innovations into compelling business value propositions.
  • Lead industry working groups and forums to shape guidelines and standards.
  • Identify emerging market needs and work with product teams to develop responsive solutions.
  • Remove implementation barriers through strategic problem-solving and executive stakeholder alignment.
  • Represent FICO at premier industry events and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Be a subject matter expert in mortgage lending and credit underwriting in the US market.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Client Services team focused on strategic account management across the mortgage industry.
  • Develop and execute detailed account plans that position FICO Score as the preferred credit scoring solution for lenders.
  • Champion the adoption of FICO Score 10 T and other advanced scoring solutions through consultative engagement with lending leaders and C-suite executives.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and other critical mortgage ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Partner with lenders to help them align their FICO solutions with securitization requirements.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to lending and underwriting leaders on credit risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with client investor and secondary marketing teams as needed to ensure FICO products enhance market liquidity and meet evolving buy-side guidelines.
  • Translate complex credit analytics and scoring innovations into compelling business value propositions.
  • Lead industry working groups and forums to shape guidelines and standards for credit scoring adoption.
  • Identify emerging market needs and work with product teams to develop responsive solutions.

What We’re Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field with MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong history of experience in mortgage industry with emphasis on credit/ underwriting.
  • Proven track record of building trusted advisor relationships with senior executives in financial services firms and monoline lenders.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage underwriting and risk management frameworks. Working knowledge of securitization, investor guidelines, mortgage tech ecosystem is a plus.
  • Established professional network within GSEs and the mortgage investor community are a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship building and consultative selling capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills with ability to engage technical teams and executive audiences equally well.
  • Strategic thinking balanced with strong execution and attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and drive consensus across stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of FICO products and credit scoring methodologies preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel 25% to 75%, depending on timing of industry events and client needs.
