Meet our team

This role is within our Checkout team, where you'll work on multiple features of the Zettle POS. It's an exciting opportunity to tackle impactful technical challenges alongside talented peers in a cross-functional and agile team. Here, you’ll be contributing to the creation of modern products that positively impact people's lives and contribute to the success of millions of merchants worldwide.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with skilled and highly motivated engineers specializing in backend, iOS, Android, and quality assurance to deliver a world-class experience for our users. You'll benefit from their extensive delivery experience, accelerating your learning journey and enabling you to contribute to exciting features and improvements in the Payment and Orders Experience areas, serving customers at scale across multiple geolocations.

Your day to day

• Actively contribute to building and improving high-quality features that bring real value to our users.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional, agile team—actively participating in planning, refinement, development, and delivery of sprint goals.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to bring ideas to life, ensuring user needs and technical feasibility go hand in hand.
• Engage with fellow iOS engineers across the chapter to share knowledge, drive platform improvements, and support each other’s growth in a learning-focused environment.
• Take ownership of your scope while contributing to a strong team culture based on trust, continuous improvement, and shared responsibility.

What you need to succeed

• Strong expertise in iOS development, with solid, hands-on experience in Swift and a deep understanding of building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications.
• Proven experience working with the iOS SDK and Apple’s frameworks, and the ability to leverage them effectively to develop reliable, efficient, and well-structured applications.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, and the ability to apply them in complex projects to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or Fastlane, with a focus on improving and streamlining the build, test, and deployment process.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with a solid track record in applying unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing practices.
• Genuine interest in staying up to date with the latest developments in the iOS ecosystem and continuously improving your craft.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
