Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Accounting & Consolidation to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial consolidation processes and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage a team of skilled professionals, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
Must have:
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process, addressing inquiries, and implementing recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounting and consolidation processes, implementing best practices and automation where applicable.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and and recommendations for improving financial performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Work closely with finance, treasury, and other departments to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

You will

  • Financial Consolidation: Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process, addressing inquiries, and implementing recommendations for improvement.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounting and consolidation processes, implementing best practices and automation where applicable.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with finance, treasury, and other departments to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

You have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; active CPA certification required.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in financial consolidation and accounting leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, Oracle ERP and Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
  • Change agent with a proven track record of process improvement and optimizing accounting operations.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing and nurturing high-performing teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to adapt to change.

This role has a national range of $121,500 to $194,400. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
