NVIDIA seeks a Senior Manager, Client Technology Services to lead a team of engineers developing and innovating the client platform. Responsibilities include defining laptop, desktop, and peripheral device standards for all NVIDIA employees; driving OS engineering excellence through configuration and compliance; developing performance and stability dashboards; partnering with AI Ops and data teams to improve platform service and build robust data operations; and collaborating across departments and with vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills and a proven track record leading client platform engineering teams. The role requires expertise in DevOps-based configuration management and experience across multiple OS platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux).

This role will manage a team of engineers driving the development and innovation of the client platform. Results will be measured through user satisfaction of the products you and the team deliver, with efficiency and experience being core metrics of success. You will find ways for continual innovation, pushing the boundaries of what's possible for CPE.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own and deliver the laptop, desktop, and peripheral device standards for all NVIDIANs.
  • Drive OS engineering excellence through configuration and compliance. Work with teams to develop dashboards and metrics visualizing device performance and stability
  • Partner with our AI Ops team to build models that help improve the platform's level of service.

  • Collaborate with our data team to build a robust data operation around the client platform. Take a broad approach to provide deep analysis of low-level information about our fleet.

  • Be a good partner to team members, senior leadership, and end users - listening to their concerns, taking feedback, and coming up with plans to address macro-level issues across the company where our platform could be a solution.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years leading a Client Platform Engineering team.

  • 5+ overall years engineering in DevOps-based configuration management such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Salt.

  • 7+ years in Client Platform Engineering.

  • Experience in more than one OS platform (Windows, Mac, Linux)

  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.

The base salary range is 248,000 USD - 391,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
