About this role:
The Senior Manager, New Business and Growth is a hybrid inbound-outbound growth leader responsible for identifying, managing, and converting new opportunities across both proactive outreach and incoming leads. This person will own the process from initial contact or inquiry through to proposal, pitch, and close—ensuring MATTE is consistently and compellingly represented in the market. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to respond to RFPs and RFIs, shape tailored pitches, and proactively prospect within our core industries of fashion, luxury, lifestyle, and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that includes both outbound prospecting and inbound lead conversion to achieve revenue goals.
- Lead the end-to-end process for inbound RFPs and RFIs, coordinating internal teams to deliver high-impact responses.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue outbound leads using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot, and other CRM/sales platforms.
- Manage the intake and evaluation of inbound opportunities, ensuring timely and strategic responses.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through proactive outreach, networking, and industry research.
- Craft compelling pitch materials and customized presentations that reflect MATTE’s unique creative offerings.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and production teams to align internal capabilities with client needs and maximize pitch success.
- Track and report on business development activities, success rates, and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, setting the stage for long-term strategic partnerships.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in new business development, sales, or related roles, ideally within the creative, marketing, or advertising industries.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and other sales enablement tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills to assess opportunities and craft compelling strategies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A passion for creativity, innovation, and storytelling.
- Must be able to be in office Monday- Thursday
Salary Range: $100,000-130,000 /year based on experience
