QS is seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join their high-performing Institutional Marketing team in London. This hybrid role involves shaping and delivering B2B marketing campaigns for student recruitment products and services, collaborating with various teams, and driving awareness and interest for QS's global mission in higher education. The ideal candidate is passionate, hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses strong communication and project management skills to impact the global higher education community.
Must have:
  • Support the development and implementation of B2B student recruitment campaigns
  • Deliver marketing activities to promote and generate leads for QS student recruitment events and digital advertising
  • Work across marketing, sales, product and business units to ensure plans are aligned
  • Brief marketing tasks into the service teams, e.g. creative, content, paid advertising
  • Support the project management of marketing plans using ClickUp
  • Support the operational delivery of marketing activities, e.g. webinars and email marketing
  • Evaluate and report the performance of marketing activities and campaigns
  • Monitor, track and analyse lead scoring and identify any improvements or changes
  • Suggest and test new ideas, including automations and application of AI tools
  • Keep internal stakeholders up-to-date with marketing campaign and activities
  • Flexible team member that will support the Institutional and wider marketing team

Role: Senior Marketing Executive

Location: UK, London

Job type: Full time, Permanent – Hybrid

Application Deadline: September 24th with interviews expected to be held virtually on September 30th or October 1st.

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home and our office.

Typically, employees are expected to work 2 days in the office per week.

As a Senior Marketing Executive, this is what you’ll be doing:

We’re seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join our high-performing Institutional Marketing team and play a key role in raising awareness and driving interest in QS Quacquarelli Symonds’ student recruitment products and services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape marketing campaigns that connect universities, agencies, and government organisations around the world with QS’ global mission.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the wider marketing team - spanning content, creative, and regional marketing - as well as stakeholders across the business. You’ll design and deliver B2B marketing campaigns and activities that support both universities and QS in achieving their strategic objectives. Your work will have a tangible impact on our global higher education community.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about marketing, enjoys being hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising and multitasking effectively under tight deadlines, while maintaining creativity and attention to detail. You are a flexible, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, ready to work with colleagues and partners around the world.

Role responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of B2B student recruitment campaigns to build brand awareness, interest and leads. Key channels include email, website, webinar, social and digital.
  • Deliver marketing activities to promote and generate leads for QS student recruitment events and digital advertising.
  • Work across marketing, sales, product and business units to ensure plans are aligned.
  • Brief marketing tasks into the service teams, e.g. creative, content, paid advertising. Give clear direction and deadlines, provide constructive feedback to ensure the delivery meets the brief and achieves the objective.
  • Support the project management of marketing plans. Use ClickUp to manage and coordinate tasks, follow up with team members and provide progress updates by email and at meetings.
  • Support the operational delivery of marketing activities, e.g. webinars and email marketing.
  • Evaluate and report the performance of marketing activities and campaigns – during and post-delivery. Suggest and apply recommendations to optimise results.
  • Monitor, track and analyse lead scoring and identify any improvements or changes to improve SLAs and conversion
  • Suggest and test new ideas, including automations and application of AI tools, to achieve our campaign objectives and support sales and product with their targets.
  • Keep internal stakeholders up-to-date with marketing campaign and activities, including emails, meetings and presentations.
  • Flexible team member that will support the Institutional and wider marketing team when and where the help is needed.

Key skills and experience

  • Skilled Marketeer with a proven experience of working in a similar role within Higher Education sector or EdTech (Essential)
  • Understands the different marketing channels and the role they play, e.g. website, social media, email marketing, paid digital advertising etc.
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders, remotely around the world, to deliver marketing activities.
  • High level of attention to details and demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to turn complex ideas and information into simple story telling (understood by the target audience).
  • Confident at monitoring, evaluating and optimising systems, processes and marketing activities.
  • Understands how CRM systems can be applied with email marketing experience – writing, building and sending emails.
  • Confident in using systems such as Teams, HubSpot, WordPress, ClickUp or Zoom (or similar).
  • Experienced at working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to quickly adapt plans as needs require.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
