Job Description

N-iX is seeking a Senior/Middle Mobile QA Engineer with automation skills to join their team. This role involves manual and automated testing of a native mobile application (Android and iOS) used by over a million users. Responsibilities include defining and executing test plans, testing RESTful web services (Postman), manual mobile app testing (30-40%), and writing automated tests in Python using Appium (60-70%). The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of QA experience, 1+ year of mobile testing experience (iOS/Android), experience with RESTful web service testing, and Appium experience. Familiarity with relational databases and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. The team consists of 2 Android devs, 2 iOS devs, and 2 QA engineers.

Our client is looking for an experienced QA/AQA Python Engineer to test their mobile application. The app is serving over a million users that rely on it for their day-to-day job. The app is a native app for both Android and iOS platforms. You will work in a team of 2 Android devs, 2 iOS devs, and 2 QA, and will perform manual testing of the apps as well as automation tasks using Appium.

Responsibilities

Defining test plans and test cases, executing them, and reporting results
Testing RESTful web services directly using tools such as Postman
Testing mobile apps (iOS, Android) manually (30-40%)
Writing automated tests in Python using Appium (60-70%)

Requirements

3+ years of QA experience
1+ years of experience with mobile testing (iOS, Android)
Experience with testing RESTful web services using tools such as Postman
1+ years of experience writing automated tests in Python
Experience with Appium is a plus
Working knowledge of relational databases is a plus
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced methodology such as Agile/Scrum
At least Intermediate level of English knowledge
Fluent level of Ukrainian knowledge
