Join Intel's Custom SOC organization within the Datacenter Silicon Engineering Group as a Senior Design Verification Engineer. You will contribute to designing Intel's next-gen server SOCs, focusing on verifying complex components like Performance, Coherent Fabric, Memory, and PCIE. Responsibilities include planning, creating, documenting, and executing verification plans, as well as developing and debugging verification environments and test-suites. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, independence, and excellent communication for collaborating with architecture and design teams.
Must have:
  • Verification of complex component(s) or domains (e.g., Performance, Coherent Fabric, Coherent Links, Memory, Cache, Core, PCIE, Accelerator) in the server chip.
  • Plan, create, document, and execute verification plans on various platforms.
  • Develop and debug verification environment, test-benches, test-suite for quality verification of complex components, DUTs, and systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or closely related technical field and 4+ years of experience OR a Master’s Degree in Engineering or closely related technical field and 3+ years of experience OR a PhD in Engineering.
Good to have:
  • Experience in Design and/or Design Verification with developing, maintaining, and executing complex IPs and/or SOCs OVM/UVM, System Verilog, constrained random verification methodologies.
  • Experience with the complete verification life cycle (verification architecture, test plan, execution, debug, coverage closure).
  • Experience in Modern CPU architecture areas, e.g. performance, coherent fabrics/links, memory, cache hierarchy, PCIE, accelerators, etc. as hands-on senior verification engineer/lead seeing through and closing full verification execution cycle(s) of IP/SOC block/domain.

Who You Are

We are seeking an experienced Design Verification Engineer in a senior role to work with a diverse team designing next generation server SOCs. The candidate should be passionate about solving complex problems through direct contributions and team effort while working with and developing cutting-edge architecture, design, tools, and methodologies.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Verification of complex component(s) or domains, e.g. Performance, Coherent Fabric, Coherent Links, Memory, Cache, Core, PCIE, Accelerator, etc. in the server chip.
  • Plan, create, document, and execute verification plans on various platforms.
  • Develop and debug verification environment, test-benches, test-suite for quality verification of complex components, DUTs, and systems.

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or closely related technical field and 4+ years of experience -OR- a Master’s Degree in Engineering or closely related technical field and 3+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Design and/or Design Verification with developing, maintaining, and executing complex IPs and/or SOCs OVM/UVM, System Verilog, constrained random verification methodologies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$153,540.00-$216,770.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
