Responsibilities
The Private/Corporate & Institutional Onboarding/ODD/ Remediation/Services departments has to show increased profitability in processing and by ensuring a compliant, cost efficient and scalable Onboarding/ODD platform across all of Saxo Bank’s departments & offices in general. The processing must actively contribute to delivering a coherent, consistent and smooth Saxo Experience. The Manager- IC in Onboarding/ODD are responsible for - but not limited to - overseeing the following areas:
- Secure compliant and timely processing of high quality and scalable processes and capacity by further digitalization, standardization, and centralization of all the possible processes. - It is your responsibility to plan for, navigate, develop, and motivate your group members. It is your responsibility to monitor and assess incoming volumes against capacity and escalate any excess/lack of resources or impacted SLAs.
- Maintain, develop, and implement efficient quality controls on all processing according to need and competences for the processing. Oversee the effectiveness of the controls and provide the relevant MIS for the controls being conducted.
- Contribute to efficient and thorough CDD & EDD processes is conducted during Onboarding/ODD and that cost-efficient and quality focused ongoing due diligence on client’s takes place, with the correct frequency and when alerts are raised.
- Support the development of digital, transparent and simple processes which are easily managed, optimized and monitored. Remove complexity and increase productivity by process improvement/lean processes. Streamline and optimize Onboarding/ODD processes where possible and contribute actively to creating and maintaining global policies, procedures and work instructions.
- Provide data for efficient capacity control; Service overview, Degree of Standardization, STP rates, Resource utilization and Competences to ensure that the resource capacity is utilised most flexible across the organisation.
- Ensure critical issues are escalated to ensure visibility, engagement, and interaction.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that work instructions and procedures are up to date and reviewed on a regular basis.
- It is your responsibility to have the overview of ongoing projects and initiatives impacting the team and ensure the proper distribution and prioritization within the team in line with the overall Saxo Group strategy.
- It is your responsibility to collect, analyze and present the MIS reporting and other adhoc management reporting in line with senior management expectations.
- Develop and attract the right team delivering diligent handling of D2D, control and development of teams and processes. Facilitate the maintenance & development of SME level knowledge in the team.
Your Profile
- Total experience: 5-7+ years
- Preferrable private/ Corporate & Institutional AML/KYC experience
- To interact and if necessary, escalate with any part of Saxo to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, proper business procedures and client focus on Onboarding/ODD - working closely with relevant stakeholders securing this.
- Deliver into the key Onboarding/ODD/Remediation priorities and cross departmental projects agreed with the Global head of Onboarding/ODD
- Develop a strong talented group of staff and relevant succession candidates for the tasks assigned to your group and yourself.
- You have the mandate to allocate and distribute tasks within the group.
- You have the mandate to collect and analyze information in order to evidence the need for changes/improvements of the client experience and overall company strategy.
