Our team is a passionate and collaborative group of engineers who are dedicated to transforming Investment Banking workflows through AI-powered, user-centric solutions. We are driven by the mission to deliver high-impact features that provide users with the most relevant content and data, enabling faster and more confident decision-making.

Based primarily in Helsinki, we are an independent and agile team that takes pride in owning our work from end to end. About the Role: 

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing and enhancing the technical aspects of our Engagement Mission, with a primary focus on application development using React and Node.js. You will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces, optimizing the user experience, and ensuring responsive design across our applications. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating high-impact workflows that provide users with the most relevant content and data, enabling faster decision-making.

As a senior engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Tech Lead to align technical execution with the overall vision, taking full ownership of critical initiatives and driving features from development to deployment. You’ll work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure seamless cross-team collaboration, define processes, and optimize workflows to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Your role will also involve ensuring performance and quality, balancing innovation with system stability to provide value to our users as quickly as possible.

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance features using React and Node.js.
• Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with product goals and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement user-centric solutions and optimize user experiences.
• Balance rapid feature delivery with maintaining code quality and system performance.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and drive continuous improvement in development processes.

Who you are: 

• Fluent with React, TypeScript and its ecosystem
• Experienced in working with NodeJS backends (ideally GraphQL)
• A genuine interest to work with various stakeholders to build the best product for the customer
• Fluent communicator in English with a team-first mentality

Nice to have:

• Experience using GraphQL and Apollo Federation
• Experience building container-orchestrated services in the cloud (we use Kubernetes & AWS)
• Interest to grow into leadership responsibilities
