Job Description
As a Senior Search Engineer at WebMD, you will shape the future of healthcare by architecting intelligent search solutions. You will lead the search strategy across all products. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing search applications and features that improve patient experiences, focusing on relevance, speed, and accuracy. You will also lead strategic decisions that set the future direction for our search capabilities, aligning technical implementation with business objectives and stakeholder needs.

What You'll Do:
- Define Search Strategy: Lead and define the search strategy across all our products.
- Pioneer Advanced Search Technologies: Architect and implement cutting-edge search capabilities using semantic search with Vector DB and LLM integration through Elasticsearch 8 Platinum, setting new standards for information retrieval in healthcare.
- Innovate and Build: Develop and enhance search applications and features that directly improve patient experiences and outcomes, focusing on relevance, speed, and accuracy.
- Drive Strategic Decision-Making: Lead strategic decisions that set the future direction for our search capabilities, aligning technical implementation with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
