As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be a core technical leader defining how this product is built, touching bank data, payments, and our fintech stack. About the role

Join us in founding a new team to build out a brand new product. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be one of the core technical leaders defining how this product is built. You’ll have the opportunity to touch bank data, payments, and everything in our fintech stack. This is a rare opportunity to join a zero-to-one project, architect it from the ground up, and scale it up from a handful of initial customers to something every customer depends on. What you will do

  • Confidently ship moderate/large features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects
  • Modeling and executing against requirements involving complex and interdependent systems
  • Taking ambiguous technical problem statements and turning them into an actionable plan, and then executing on it with the team
  • Implement comprehensive unit tests for confirming functionality and the quality of code. Ensure high-quality code and related documentation.
  • Build relationships with teams across engineering, finance, ops, and support, to understand their needs and help improve their day-to-day workflows

What you will need

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Preferred experience with Python, Django, MongoDB, Postgres, AWS
  • You’re passionate about taking product ownership and shipping high quality software
  • You’re passionate about moving fast to deliver high customer impact
  • Ability to find creative solutions to nuanced problems to drive the best possible outcomes

The pay range for this role is:

159,000 - 278,250 USD per year (US Tier 1)
