Senior Solutions Architect

You’ll join the Integration Services team to implement vendor connectivity using FHIR APIs and enhance interoperability solutions. This is a 12 month, long-term contract opportunity. The role is located in PST, and is fully remote.

Senior Solutions Architect Responsibilities:

• Implement vendor connectivity with FHIR APIs, particularly using the Epic Vendor Services portal and Epic APIs.
• Troubleshoot Interconnect issues and provide support to vendors.
• Engage with clients to understand their data needs and facilitate backlog grooming in an Agile environment.
• Attend requirement sessions, communicating any concerns to project leadership.
• Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data architecture.
• Advise senior management on new data standards and database implementations.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect and client IT teams on strategic initiatives.
• Assess proposals for system optimization and recommend operational improvements.

Senior Solutions Architect Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in vendor integration, particularly with FHIR APIs.
• Experience with Epic Vendor Services and related documentation.
• Strong vendor customer-facing experience; internal hospital experience considered only if no suitable candidates are available.
• Multi-EHR integration experience (e.g., Oracle Cerner FHIR APIs) is preferred.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting Interconnect issues.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
