Job Summary:We’re looking for a Senior Systems Administrator who can blend strong technical know-how with a deep understanding of Linux and Azure environments to support and scale our growing infrastructure needs.
Work Shift: 24x7 Rotational
Experience: 5+ Years
Primary Skills: Linux, Azure, Production Systems
Secondary Skills: Windows Server, VMware
Responsibilities:
🔹 Azure Administration
- Design, deploy, and manage resources in Azure using ARM templates and Terraform.
- Implement secure, scalable Azure environments with IAM and networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Gateways).
- Monitor and optimize resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Drive cost efficiency, disaster recovery planning, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate on cloud migrations, vulnerability remediation, and system modernization.
- Certification such as Azure Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect Expert is a huge plus!
🔹 Linux Administration (CentOS/Red Hat)
- Administer and maintain production-grade Linux servers, perform OS patching, tuning, and secure configurations (SELinux, iptables, etc.).
- Manage storage using LVM, configure NFS/SMB, and automate tasks via shell scripting or tools like Ansible/Chef.
- Support open-source tools like Nginx, Apache, SFTP/FTP, and assist in performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot system issues and work with hardware vendors when needed.
🔹 Windows + VMware (Secondary Skillset)
- Manage Windows Server environments alongside Hyper-V/VMware virtual infrastructure.
- Ensure backup, recovery, and business continuity measures are in place.
- Contribute to identity access management across hybrid environments.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Five (5)+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, with a focus on Azure and Linux.
- Proven expertise in enterprise IT environments, system performance, and infrastructure management.
- Ability to work in a rotational 24x7 support model.
- You bring a solution-driven mindset, stay updated with tech trends, and thrive in a collaborative, high-stakes environment.
