Senior Test Specialist - Embedded Software Testing

Job Summary
The Senior Test Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software through the design, execution, and optimization of comprehensive testing strategies. This position not only involves advanced testing methodologies but also includes mentoring junior team members and advocating for best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, thus significantly contributing to the organization s commitment to excellence.

  2. Utilize Automation Tools Such As Selenium Or Testcomplete To Enhance Test Efficiency And Effectiveness, While Advocating For Timely Fixes And Upholding Quality Assurance Best Practices.
  3. Identify, Reproduce, And Meticulously Document Software Defects Using Tools Like Jira Or Bugzilla According To Established Protocols To Ensure Traceability And Resolution.
  4. Collaborate Proactively With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions, Actively Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Share Best Practices Across Teams.
  5. Stay Current With The Latest Trends And Advancements In Testing Technologies, Contributing To The Creation And Maintenance Of Robust Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries, While Implementing Innovative Testing Approaches To Address The Complexities Of Evolving Embedded Software.Skill Requirements
  1. Strong Understanding Of Functional Testing Methodologies Specific To Embedded Software.
