Job Description

SOFTSWISS is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to drive organic growth by optimizing website visibility, ensuring technical SEO health, and supporting content and link-building strategies. The role involves conducting in-depth technical SEO audits, performing keyword and content topic research, creating SEO briefs, and reviewing competitor profiles. The specialist will also develop and implement link-building and internal linking strategies, maintain Google Business Profiles, and monitor key SEO metrics using various tools.
Must have:
  • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits: crawling, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, structured data.
  • Perform keyword research, cluster mapping, and content topic research.
  • Create SEO briefs for copywriters based on topical, keywords and SERP analysis.
  • Review competitor site profiles for competitor intelligence, insights, and opportunities.
  • Develop a link-building strategy in coordination with Linkbuilder and define anchor texts.
  • Plan site structure for new and ongoing site projects.
  • Maintain company’s Google Business Profiles.
  • Monitor and analyze Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and third-party tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking).
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO.
  • Advanced understanding of SEO and SEM principles.
  • Intermediate-advanced project management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital tools: Google Workspace, Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, MOZ, Surfer, Jira, Asana, Trello, GA4, Yandex Metrics, Bing Console, Looker, Google Search Console, Google Ads, HTML.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • English (Intermediate level) and Russian/Ukrainian (Upper-intermediate level).
Good to have:
  • Appropriate SEO certification.
  • Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, Polish languages.
  • Knowledge of WordPress.
  • Knowledge of ChatGPT/Generative Search Experience.

Purpose of the role:

To drive organic growth by optimizing website visibility, ensuring technical SEO health, and supporting content and link-building strategies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducts in-depth technical SEO audits: crawling, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, structured data
  • Performs keyword research, cluster mapping, and content topic research
  • Creates SEO briefs for copywriters based on topical, keywords and SERP analysis
  • Conducts site evaluations on demands: media, competitors, link placement sites, etc.
  • Reviews competitor site profiles for competitor intelligence, insights, and opportunities
  • Assigns tasks to web developers for site adjustments and setting
  • Develop a link-building strategy in coordination with Linkbuilder and define anchor texts
  • Sets up tasks for link building
  • Plans site structure for new and ongoing site projects
  • Internal linking strategy
  • Maintains company’s Google Business Profiles
  • Conducts ad-hoc SEO research on demand
  • Monitor and analyze Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and third-party tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking, etc.)
  • Contribute to SEO documentation, SOPs, and knowledge sharing
  • Creates SEO reports to share with team and department
  • Monitors key Google updates and keeps the team informed about upcoming changes, plans, and risks

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • English (Intermediate level) and Russian/Ukrainian (Upper-intermediate level)
  • Advanced understanding of SEO and SEM principles
  • Intermediate-advanced project management skills
  • Digital tools: email and writing (Google Workspace), SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, MOZ, Surfer, other), project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello etc), data and analytics tools (GA4, Yandex Metrics, Bing Console, Looker, Google Search Console etc.), Google Ads, HTML
  • Strong analytical skills

Nice to have:

  • Appropriate SEO certification
  • Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Polish
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Knowledge of ChatGPT/Generative Search Experience
