AppleCare Service Process Engineers provide end to end manufacturing repair processes for all Apple products. This role focuses on new product manufacturing repair process design, which incorporates: diagnostics, repair, assembly, key parameters, process setup, and process validation. You will be identifying manufacturing equipment, automation, strategic R&D, diagnostics, test and repair needs for the organization.\n\nIn this highly transparent technical lead role, you will be working with multi-functional teams and vendors. You will need to demonstrate your ability to combine knowledge of reparability, assembly, diagnostics and manufacturing process/process controls and deliver results on a tight timeline.\n\n- Develop and detail outstanding repair processes to meet all Apple design and operational requirements \n\n- Drive innovative new service processes across all our product lines that set the bar for quality in the service industry, while reducing our environmental impact, and improving the cost efficiency of service\n\n- Manages, develops and documents processes including all parameters, and secondary operation requirements to meet defined specifications \n\n- Executive level status reports including BRR (build readiness review), and NPR (New Product Review)\n\n- Analyze data from factories, customers, DOEs, etc, to develop action plans, quality and repair accuracy decisions based on the data\n\n- Drive lessons learned into process designs and use predictive methods to anticipate and avoid issues early\n\n- Communicate multi-functionally with engineering, program management, and business teams, as the need arises for new product process development
