Job Description
Sportskeeda seeks a detail-oriented video content producer specializing in NFL and college football to create short-form video content (Reels, YouTube Shorts). Responsibilities include writing 8-10 scripts per week, converting scripts to videos using provided tools, fact-checking, developing content strategies, tracking analytics, and implementing course corrections. The ideal candidate possesses subject matter expertise in NFL and college football, knowledge of content management and short-form video best practices, and a keen eye for detail in selecting compelling stories and topics. Experience in video content creation and familiarity with AI tools and video editing software are preferred but not mandatory. The company provides training in scriptwriting and video production.

Sportskeeda is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven video content producer who is a subject matter specialist in the domain of NFL and college football!

Key
Responsibilities
- Writing 8-10 short-video scripts within the NFL and college football domain, purely meant for vertical content
- Converting scripts and briefs into video using prescribed video tools for editing, voiceovers, graphics, etc.
- Fact-checking and proofing the scripts with proper due diligence with the reporting manager for a quality final product
- Developing content strategies in adherence to larger goals and targets
- Ownership of views, interactions, and traffic on the channels for the specific content domain assigned
- Tracking analytics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and implementing course-correction whenever necessary.
Requirements
- Subject matter expertise in and around the NFL and college football in the US, with a knack to stay updated and consume content across various areas and platforms for the same
- Knowledge of content management and picking topics, selecting titles, hooks, and delivering crisp news and updates via short-form video content
- 1-2 years of experience in video content (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Play.HT, ElevenLabs, etc. (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of image / video editing tools like Canva, Premiere Pro, etc. (preferred, but not mandatory)
- A hunger to produce great content from your assigned domain and the eye for detail in picking the right stories and topics
