As a Site Industrial Management Controller, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, budgets, business plans, and forecasts. You will analyze actual performance against forecasts and budgets daily, weekly, and monthly, ensuring the accuracy of management control and costing information within the site's ERP system. Your role will involve ensuring the reliability of site gross margin and expenses during the closing process, managing the controlling department for optimal profitability and adherence to laws and Group standards. You will also be expected to immediately report any significant risks to the Financial Controller. Additionally, responsibilities include approving e-procurement requests, contributing to the Group Ethics & Compliance program, and ensuring the proper capitalization of Work in Process assets. Strong knowledge of General Accounting and Costing Management is required. Experience with the IS module, specifically Comp@ss, for continuous learning is also mentioned.

  • Prepares the elements for the reporting, the budget, the business plan and the forecasts.

  • Follows and analyzes the actual situation vs forecast and vs budget on the daily, weekly and monthly basis.

  • Ensure accuracy of management control and costing information in the ERP system of the site

  • Ensure reliability of site gross margin and site below gross margin expenses during closing process

  • Manages the activity of the controlling department so that it can control if the company’s activity is performed by the most efficient and most profitable way and suits the local laws and Group Valeo standards (especially MAF and LSF)

  • Must alert immediately the Financial Controller in case of any important risk for the company and / or for its employees

  • Contact with Product Lines or Regional Operations, completing the tasks in order to manage correct operation of the GPS module.

  • Constant improvements of her/his knowledge of the IS module - Comp@ss day, Comp@ss Academy

  • E-proc requests approving

  • Contribute to the Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies.

  • Ensure the proper capitalization of Work in process assets and weekly follow up with the involved Departments.

  • Strong knowledge on General Accounting

  • Strong knowledge on Costing Management
