Job Description

The Senior Technical Professional will perform significant and varied engineering assignments, requiring broad engineering knowledge and understanding of interdisciplinary effects. They will advise colleagues on technical issues, participate in proposal activities, ensure project expenditures are within budget, and lead project teams with technical expertise. Responsibilities include working on diverse customer requirements, contributing to technical solutions and documentation, participating in code reviews, resolving technical problems, and coordinating analysis, design, implementation, and testing across multidisciplinary engineering groups.
Must have:
  • Carry out significant and varied engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fields.
  • Advise colleagues and other department on technical issues & problems based on in-depth knowledge of product.
  • Participate in proposal activities by compiling cost estimate and reviewing project proposal.
  • Ensure project expenditures are within budget and discuss critical project changes or modifications with management.
  • Lead and provide project team with guidance and technical expertise.
  • Recommend development/training program required to enhance skill set of work team members.
  • Use skills as an experienced professional with full understanding of company policies and procedures to work on problems and customer requirements of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of a solution and the production of the technical documentation for proposals.
  • Participate in code reviews, identifying risks.
  • Resolve technical problems escalated from less experienced team members and make recommendations.
  • Complete tasks within budget and more complex timing issues, and lead small or medium sized projects.
  • Coordinate analysis, design, implementation, testing across a multi-disciplinary group of engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English and xxx.
