Job Description

Intel is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and flexible SOC Design Verification Engineer to drive next-generation Xeon Server and AI Server product development. This role focuses on hardware verification at the IP or system/chip level, involving collaboration with computer architects, RTL designers, and physical designers. Responsibilities include functional logic verification, developing test benches, executing verification plans, debugging issues, and ensuring design specifications are met for integrated SoCs.
Must have:
  • Performs functional logic verification of an integrated SoC to ensure design will meet specifications.
  • Defines and develops scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to meet the required level of coverage and confirm microarchitecture specifications.
  • Executes verification plans and defines and runs emulation and system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and performance, and uncover bugs.
  • Replicates, root causes, and debugs issues in the pre-silicon environment.
  • Finds and implements corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
  • Collaborates and communicates with SoC architects, micro-architects, full chip architects, RTL developers, post-silicon, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
  • Documents test plans and drive technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
  • Incorporates and executes security activities within test plans, including regression and debug tests, to ensure security coverage.
  • Maintains and improves existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
  • Absorbs learning from post-silicon on the quality of validation done during pre-silicon development, updates test plan for missing coverages, and proliferates to future products.

The role will focus primarily on hardware verification, which could be at the IP-level or at the overall system or chip level of the design. The opportunity will include working with a team of engineers, collaborating with computer architects, RTL designers, and physical designers, allowing for expanded growth of your verification skills and opportunities for advancement with our company!

Who You Are

This role is in the SOC Design Verification Engineer. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or any STEM related degree -OR- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or any STEM related degree

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the following areas:

  • UVM

$104,890.00-$148,080.00
