About the job

The Social Media Manager sits within the Game Shows Social & Digital Organization and reports directly to the Executive Director, Digital Content. This position will be directly responsible for daily programming, long-term social media strategy and KPI ownership across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and X (as well as future emerging platforms).

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, passionate and creative digital-first storyteller with a deep and confident understanding of innovative trends, tools and best practices across social, as well as in the influencer space; is very experienced in building and managing multiple content calendars and publishing tools for brands and/or talent; and has a passion for using data and insights to inform creative content.

This person is a skilled and accurate copywriter, able to craft precise, like-worthy captions and post copy that generates engagement and fan interaction. Equally as important: If content and copy falls short of intended audience goals, our ideal platform manager is able to quickly learn, iterate and continue experimenting with passion and curiosity to find the storytelling methods that resonate among identified Wheel of Fortune fan segments. Our ideal candidate is also passionate about data and growth, and excited to find repeatable, scalable patterns amongst the highest performing organic content.

Working in lock step with the brand’s Associate Community Manager, our platform manager will also be responsible for ensuring Wheel of Fortune’s Social platforms are safe, productive and positive platforms for fans.
